Baseball Begins...

We are having so much fun with the start of what I am sure will be many years of watching baseball. The boys are so cute in the uniforms! Every game there is something new and entertaining to watch as they start to learn the rules and how to play together. This will be a great season!

My Kiddos

Really? The stroller is getting a little heavy.

My favorite time of the day is going to check on the kiddos right before bed. They are so peaceful and sweet. On nonschool nights the boys get to sleep in the same room. Trouble is they like to play usually until we have to come in and separate them.
Look mom, no hands! And K took her first step on May 2nd-exactly 10 months old.
Everyone in D's class got to take home Monito the monkey for a visit. We took him on a bike ride.
What is this green stuff? I think I will stay on the pavement.

Right after I took this picture of the kids in K's crib, D came sprinting in to tell me that O needed me. When I walked in the room all I could see was feet and legs sticking out of K's laundry basket. A little boy had fallen in face first and was stuck. Luckily he didn't get hurt, just scared, and I had to keep from cracking up too much.

Always one of my favorite moments of any day, when my sweet baby is asleep on me.

Elevator Project

I just love the projects that D makes at home. This was an elevator that actually worked by pulling on a string to move the stuffed animal up and down. He is incredibly creative!

My Birthday Weekend

I just had the best birthday weekend! Last night I got to go on a date with my hubby. We went to a clam bake and then very surprisingly, he serenaded me with karaoke, a happy birthday song. Amazing that he even did it! I got it video taped with my camera, but I was laughing and trying not to shake as he "sang". Then today, the boys were so excited to make me breakfast and give me my present that unfortunately I didn't get to sleep in, but got up early for french toast. It was so sweet of them, that it didn't bother me at all. Love those boys! Then, Billy and I got 18 quiet holes of golf in. It was a bonus that I shot an 81! Birthday nap time got fit in the day as well and it ended with the boys taking me to a movie-How to Train your Dragon in 3D. Overall, a wonderful birthday weekend!

Visit to the Coast

On this rainy day, it seems like a good time to post about our fun and tiring trip to the beach. A third MOBILE child definitely adds to the challenges of traveling, especially when she doesn't walk yet! The weather was very windy, so we probably only lasted a total of 2-3 hours of beach time over the 3 days. We spent hours and hours at the pool though. Even K enjoyed her time in the water, although she didn't last as long as the boys. D has really gotten very good in the water and spent half of the time diving under water to find the toys that sunk to the bottom of the pool. O is still wearing wings, but got more adventurous after a couple trips to the pool. It's always wonderful to get away with the family and enjoy our time together!

A Day in the Life of a 4-year-old

Although I hadn't planned on posting today, this event just needed recording. While at work today, my crying child showed up with his front tooth 1/2 way out and blood all over his face and shirt and jacket. He had fallen at the grocery store with my mom. As evident from the picture, that tooth is no longer in his mouth. I decided this wasn't a job for a mom, so a dentist friend of mine helped me out! O cried until I told him that the tooth fairy was coming and that he was going to lose his tooth before his big brother! He decided that this made him "bigger" than his older brother and was quite proud of that fact. Owen was great as the tooth was removed and told me that we wouldn't be able to kiss for a while...so sweet. I wonder how much this will cost the tooth fairy?
