Thanksgiving!

We had such a fun Thanksgiving this year. We spent the time at Great Wolf Lodge with my sister and her family. The kids were in heaven with the water park, water slides and especially the wave pool. They spent hours swimming and playing. They had a great time seeing their cousins. And, although it was chaotic for the adults, just seeing the joy on the kids faces was worth it. If you ever want to see pure joy, it's a 1-year-old sliding down a water slide! She was as happy as can be and then joyfully had her older brother walk her back around to do it again. I love seeing the relationships of my children together start to develop and grow. Although we all came home exhausted, it will be a wonderful memory. Happy Thanksgiving!

Dedication

Today, we had baby girl's dedication at church. She wasn't so sure what was happening and why she was being tortured and had to wear a dress, but she looked precious! Just love that girl!

I'm 5!!!

Hot Chocolate, brownies, Phineas & Ferb snacks and grapes! Need I say more?

Field Trip to the Zoo

I was lucky enough to get to join my son for a field trip to the zoo. The weather forecast was somewhat iffy, but we ended up enjoying very pleasant weather. The bus ride went well and we had a great time sprinting from animal to animal. A great time spent together and with friends!

Halloween!

We had so much fun on Halloween. The weather was perfect. The kids were cute. The youngest wasn't thrilled about the whole getting dressed up idea, but she was a trooper. We had friends over for pizza before trick-or-treating and then we were off on a sprint to get candy! The boys ran from house to house and in the end, sold all their candy to me for $10 each. I'm glad they are learning about money and are willing to part with candy for it! Today they bought star wars legos with their money. Happy Halloween!
