"I'm moving in with Noel"

I'm still crying a little from laughing so hard while I write this blog. We got our first kid moving out of the house scenario this morning. D got in trouble for doing little snotty things to his brother and got sent to his room. And a little later comes out with a fully packed backpack because he was going to move out and live with his cousins. It was so cute, I just had to give him a big hug and started laughing. The end of the story is that he has decided to stay!

Pregnancy

So, I thought I'd put in a picture of my belly. I probably never would have included it, but my friend Leslie had such a cute picture on her website and maybe someday my little girl will like seeing how I looked when I was pregnant with her. We'll see if I put up some pictures further into the pregnancy! Is black still slimming?

Golf

It has been such a long winter, that I have not golfed since Thanksgiving weekend. We were missing it so much today, that we vertured out in the cold. AND, thank goodness we did. I played really well considering how long it's been and the fact that I'm 5 months pregnant. AND, best of all, I beat my husband. To say that we are both competitive may be an understatement, so there isn't anything much better. AND, for some reason today, it seemed even sweeter. I shot a 39 for 9-holes and I have been forbidden to list his score. But, just know that it was a beating!

Arizona Trip

First of all, I'm not really sure how to start this blog. Yes, we had fun, but boy, oh, boy, did a lot of things go wrong! To start with, my 3 year old was sick with a fever almost the whole time we were gone, but had fun between doses of ibuprofen. When we got to the airport at 6:30 in the morning, we were told that our flight left at 6:40am (a time change) and we missed it. We then spent 5 hours in the airport waiting for the next flight with 1 very excited kid dying to get on the plane and 1 very sick kid. Considering this was only a 4-day trip, losing most of 1 day is significant. When we finally made it to Phoenix, we raced to our rooms, unpacked and ran out to play in the pool for as long as the sun was out. After returning to our rooms with the "full kitchens" we searched for any type of cooking wear, which there was barely any, and instead found a bong under the stove in my parent's room. Yes, that's right, a homemade bong in the room. Does it ever make you wonder how well they actually clean hotel rooms? We were offered new rooms, but by this point we were all too tired to repack, move rooms and unpack again, so we elected to stay put. Then, when we went to make the pull out beds in the 2 rooms, we only had bedding for 1 of them. So, back Billy went to the lobby for more bedding. The following day we learned that 1 of the sinks leaked clear out onto the floor when using it and there was what looked like dried blood on our comforter cover. Luckily, we spent most of the day at the pool enjoying the warmth and sun. When the hotel staff cleaned our rooms, they did not replace any of the normal items-shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee, etc so we spent several more trips to the front desk for items. Now, the good news is that they comped our rooms the first day and we had free dinner on them at the restauant one night! Plus the weather was nice and we got to play in the pool a lot! Unfortunately on the last day, Billy thought it would be fun to also get sick (sore throat, sinus infection, throw up) and we got to travel home with him in that condition. So, there is our trip to Arizona. One of those, WE WILL NEVER FORGET THIS ONE trips! But, I already am missing the sun.
