SNUBA

We learned in Maui that there is a thing called snuba. It is kind of a cross between snorkeling and scuba and since I have always loved snorkeling and wanted to try scuba (if I wasn't so afraid of it), this was the perfect cross. I went out with the boys and although they didn't go very far under the water, I went down about 20 feet. It was really cool and I was proud of myself for trying it! Plus, we got to see wonderful fish and turtles and have great pictures to show from it! The boys say that this was their favorite part of the trip too.

Hawaii Part 2

Well, the last part of our trip was a blast. We snorkeled, swam at the pool, went and did snuba and enjoyed the sun! Alright, Billy did save a little girl in the pool and I lost my license, but since both of those turned out alright, it didn't damper the trip at all.

Hawaii Part 1

The first half of our Hawaii trip is already over! We had a wonderful first day that we spent at Baby Beach. Then when we got back to our condo, we spent a few more hours playing at the pool. Perfect! Well, Monday was another story. First one boy started throwing up and a few hours later, the other joined. So, a day in Hawaii not spent enjoying much of anything-bummer. Today, though, the boys were better again and we had fun playing at the pool, going out to dinner and having shaved ice. Billy just got the sickness in the last few hours, and I'm crossing my fingers that as the last remaining person who has not thrown up in the family, that maybe it will miss me! Looking forward to the rest of our week.
