1st day of school

My Big 2nd Grader and Kindergartener

First day of school was a big success! Although my second grader wanted me to stay all day, my kindergartener told me I had to leave! Both were very happy after the day was over!

20th High School Reunion-Really?

How did it get to be 20 years since I graduated from high school so quickly. I worked all year with 5 other gals to organize our celebration. At our meetings, we had fun catching up with each other and everyone else as we perused the yearbook. After all the planning, we finally got to enjoy the events this past weekend. And it was really fun! We had a great group of people show up at the various events and it was great to catch up with everyone. Can't wait for the next 10 years(or 5, if someone else plans it)!

Montana

We had a great week in Montana. We golfed, went to the water park, went to a lake, camped by the pond (the boys anyway), jumped on the trampeline and played with Libby (the dog). We also enjoyed seeing Billy's high school friends while we celebrated his 20th high school reunion.

Black Butte

It's always fun to take a trip. I look forward to it for weeks and sometimes months ahead of time. Unfortunately, there are some things I can't control. I can't control the weather (it definitely could have been warmer) and I can't control the health of my children (one sat around a good majority of the trip sick). But, the important part is that we spent time together and I have to appreciate the fact that I got to spend a little extra quality time with my healthy middle child alone. Something that middle children don't always get to enjoy. Also, on the trip, I was able to go out to dinner with my wonderful husband and enjoy some alone time for our 15th wedding anniversary. So, with all of that, I will look back on the good and try to forget the uncontrollable...

TORNADO TURNS TWO!

So, my little sweetpea turned 2! I can't believe how fast the last 2 years have gone. She has grown up so much into her own little person. She is busy and independent. She is cute and funny. She is loving and lovable. She has an infectious laugh. With her speed, she always keeps us on our toes. We are so blessed to have her in our lives.
To celebrate the occassion, we had a bouncy castle at the house and friends and family over to celebrate. I loved the way K said, "Happy, Happy" each time we opened gifts or had some cake. She really got into the swing of a birthday party quickly. The day was perfect and we loved celebrating her wonderful first 2 years of life!
